Terms of Service

Last updated: August 7, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using TrueSoulMatch™ ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

TrueSoulMatch™ is an online matrimonial platform that helps users connect with potential life partners. We provide profile creation, matchmaking recommendations, communication tools, and related services to facilitate meaningful connections.

3. Eligibility

To use TrueSoulMatch™, you must:
  • Be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Be legally eligible to marry under applicable law — this includes those who are never married, divorced, widowed, judicially or legally separated, or with divorce proceedings currently underway. By selecting any such status, you warrant that the laws applicable to you permit you to seek a matrimonial alliance at this time.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • Provide accurate and truthful information, including your current marital status
  • Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable laws

4. User Accounts and Profile

Account Creation: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

Profile Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself. Misrepresentation may result in account termination.

Verification: We may require identity verification including government ID and photo verification to ensure authenticity and safety.

5. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:
  • Create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
  • Use the service for commercial purposes without permission
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts
  • Share personal contact information in initial conversations
  • Request money or financial information from other users
  • Use automated systems to interact with the service

6. Communication Guidelines

Respectful Communication: All interactions must be respectful and appropriate for a matrimonial context.

Privacy: Do not share personal information (phone numbers, addresses, financial details) until you feel comfortable and have verified the other person's identity.

Reporting: Report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to our support team immediately.

7. Payment and Subscriptions

Free Services: Basic profile creation and browsing are free.

Premium Services: Advanced features may require paid subscription. All payments are processed securely through authorized payment gateways.

No auto-renewal: Subscriptions do not renew automatically and we never charge you without you starting a new checkout. When a plan period ends, access returns to the free tier until you choose to subscribe again.

Refunds: Every paid subscription carries a 7-day money-back guarantee — a full refund, including GST, with no questions asked, available once per account. The full terms are set out in our Refund Policy.

8. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of your profile content but grant us license to use it for providing our services.

Our Content: TrueSoulMatch™'s design, features, and technology are protected by intellectual property laws.

Usage Rights: You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform content without permission.

9. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Safety and Security

Platform Safety: We implement security measures to protect users, but we cannot guarantee complete safety of online interactions.

User Responsibility: You are responsible for your own safety when meeting or communicating with other users.

Meeting Guidelines: When meeting in person, choose public places and inform friends or family about your plans.

11. Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time through your profile settings.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in harmful behavior.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the service will end, and we may delete your account data as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

12. Disclaimers and Limitations

No Guarantees: We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match or that any relationship will result from using our service.

User Verification: While we verify identities, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of all user information or intentions.

Service Availability: We strive for continuous service but may experience downtime for maintenance or technical issues.

13. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueSoulMatch™ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in [Your City], India.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Community Q&A — Content You Post

This section applies to anything you post in Community Q&A — questions, answers and replies. Community posts differ from your profile in one important way: they are public. Anyone can read them without an account, and search engines index them.

Your content, and our licence to publish it. You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, publish, display and distribute that content publicly — including to people who are not members, and to search engines — for as long as it remains on the Service, and to retain moderation records of it afterwards.

Public means public, and it cannot be fully undone. Once published, search engines and other third parties may cache or copy your post. Deleting it removes it from our Service, but we cannot retract copies others have already made. Please consider that before posting anything you would not want read widely.

You post under a handle, which is not the same as being anonymous. Posts appear under a generated handle rather than your profile name, but that handle remains linked to your account, which may be suspended or banned. Do not post information that identifies you.

Other people’s privacy. Do not post information identifying your partner, a prospective match, a family member or anyone else without their consent. They have not agreed to these Terms, and content about them is the most likely to cause real harm.

Not professional advice. Answers come from other members and from AI. Nothing in Community Q&A is legal, medical, psychological or counselling advice, and none of it substitutes for professional help or emergency services.

What you must not post. In addition to Section 5, you must not post: harassment or bullying; hate speech or attacks based on religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation, disability or origin; sexual content involving minors in any form; non-consensual intimate images; another person’s private information; impersonation of any person or organisation; spam, advertising or solicitation; content promoting violence, self-harm or suicide; dowry demands or solicitation; fraudulent or misleading content; or anything unlawful under Indian law.

Removal, suspension and appeal. We may hold, remove or refuse to publish any post, with or without notice. Where a post is withdrawn or removed, we retain a moderation record of it — deliberately, so that the record survives removal of the content. If you believe a decision about your content was wrong, write to contact@truesoulmatch.com and we will review it under Section 17.

17. Grievance Redressal (Information Technology Rules, 2021)

In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the details of our Grievance Officer are published below. You may contact the Grievance Officer about any content on the Service, including content you believe infringes your rights, discloses your private information, impersonates you, or is otherwise unlawful.

How complaints are handled. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours of receiving it and resolve it within 15 days. Complaints about content exposing a person’s private area, showing nudity or a sexual act, or impersonating another person will be actioned within 24 hours. We will remove or disable access to content within 36 hours of a valid court order or notification from an appropriate government agency.

When writing to us, please include enough detail to identify the content — a link or the question title — and describe the problem. If you are complaining on behalf of someone else, please say so and describe your relationship to them.
