About True Soul Match

2

What it is

An Indian matrimonial platform built around compatibility rather than filtering. The premise is that age, city, community and income are easy to search on and tell you very little about whether two people will actually get on.

Three kinds of account

- **Individual** — you, looking for a partner - **Family** — a separate login for parents or guardians to take part properly, without seeing your private chats - **Partner / broker** — for matchmaking professionals

What is distinctive

- **Compatibility scoring** that weighs psychology, astrology and stated preferences together, and tells you the weighting - **Aisha**, who builds your profile through conversation instead of a form - **Saathi**, a private AI coach for the human side of the process - **Verification** through DigiLocker, so a verified profile means something - **Free Blog and Learn content**, not gated behind a plan

What it costs

There is a genuine free plan. Paid plans remove limits rather than unlocking hidden features — seeing who viewed you and revealing contact details are free on every plan.

Raising a ticket

Ask here and, if it is not something that can be answered directly, it can be turned into a support ticket. You get a reference in the form `TSM-XXXXXX`, and your app version, platform and current screen are attached automatically. Keep the reference — it is how to follow up.

What to expect

Support aims to reply **within one business day**. Grievances are acknowledged **within 48 hours**, and reports about another member's conduct are reviewed **within 24 hours**.

By email

You can also write to **support@truesoulmatch.com** directly. Include your registered email address so the account can be found.

Urgent safety matters

If you are in danger, contact the authorities first. In India: emergency **112**, women's helpline **1091**, cybercrime **1930**. Tell us afterwards so we can act on the account.

Getting started

10

Yes, and your answers are kept

Aisha saves as you go. Every answer is stored as you give it, and there is a **Save & exit** button in the top bar when you want to stop. When you come back, you pick up at the question you left, with everything you already answered still filled in.

It is a long conversation on purpose

Aisha covers twelve areas — the basics, appearance, where you live, faith and community, family, lifestyle, career and education, values, what you want in a partner, how you see yourself, the relationship you want, and a short self-discovery section. Nobody is expected to do all of it in one sitting. Doing two or three sections at a time is completely normal, and a partly complete profile is still a working profile.

If your answers look missing

If you return and something you entered is not there, contact support and say roughly where you had got to. Do not redo the whole thing first — that makes it harder for us to see what happened.

Both build the same profile

There are two ways to complete your profile and they write to exactly the same place. Neither one unlocks anything the other does not. **Aisha** asks you questions in a conversation, one at a time, and fills the profile in as you answer. She can talk in English or Hindi, out loud if you want. **The form** shows you the fields directly, grouped into sections, so you can jump straight to the part you care about and skip the rest for now.

Which to pick

If you find long forms tiring, or you are not sure what to write about yourself, Aisha is easier — the questions do the thinking for you, and the answers about how you see relationships feed the compatibility matching in a way that free-text rarely does. If you know exactly what you want to enter and would rather not be asked, the form is faster.

You can switch

Answering with Aisha and then opening the form is fine. So is the reverse. Your answers are the profile, not the method.

You already have an account

Each email address and each phone number can belong to only one account. If you are told one is taken, there is an existing account using it — very often one created months ago and forgotten, or one created with Google when you are now trying email and password. **Try signing in instead of signing up.** If you originally used Google, use the Google button — an account created through Google has no password until you set one.

If you do not remember the password

Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page. The reset email arrives from `noreply@truesoulmatch.com` and the link is valid for **one hour**.

If you recently deleted an account

Deletion is not immediate — there is a **30-day grace period** during which the account still exists and still holds its email address and phone number. During that window those details cannot be reused on a new account. Signing back in during the grace period **cancels the deletion** and restores everything. If you want the details freed instead, wait out the 30 days or contact support.

The short answer

Three things, roughly in this order: 1. **Add a photo.** Nothing else changes how many people look at your profile as much as this. 2. **Answer enough of the profile that matching has something to work with.** Aisha's first few sections are enough to start. 3. **Verify yourself.** ID and face verification are what open up matches, and they take a couple of minutes.

Why the app can look empty at first

A brand new account shows zero views, zero likes and no matches, because nothing has happened yet. That is not a fault, and it is not a judgement about your profile — it is simply a new account. The counts start moving once you have a photo and enough profile for the matching to place you. Most people who give it a second visit see a very different screen from the one they saw in the first five minutes.

You do not have to finish everything now

You can leave at any point and come back to exactly where you were. Doing a little on each of two or three visits works better than trying to complete everything at once.

This is expected

When you sign up with Google, your email address arrives already verified, so we do not ask you to confirm it. Phone verification is not part of that flow either, which is why you reached the app without ever entering a number. Nothing is broken and your account is fine.

Why you may still want to verify your phone

A verified phone number is one of the signals other members use to decide whether to trust a profile, and it is how you recover your account if you ever lose access to your Google login. It also matters for the verified badge.

How to add it

You can add and verify your phone number from verification in the app at any time. It takes one code and about thirty seconds.

Check these first

Email codes are sent immediately, so if one has not arrived within a couple of minutes it is usually one of these: - **Spam or Promotions.** This is the most common cause by a wide margin. Search your mailbox for `truesoulmatch`. - **A typo in the address.** One wrong character and the mail goes somewhere real but not to you. - **Add `noreply@truesoulmatch.com` to your contacts.** Some providers quietly filter unknown senders on a first message.

Then request a new code

Use the resend option on the verification screen rather than restarting the signup form. Restarting loses the details you already entered and does not change anything about mail delivery.

If it still does not arrive

Contact support and mention the exact email address you used. Delivery failures are logged on our side, so we can see whether the message left our systems and what the receiving server said about it.

Check these first

- **Country code.** The number needs the correct country code. An Indian mobile is `+91` followed by the ten digits, with no leading zero. - **Signal.** An SMS will not arrive while the phone has no service, and it does not always arrive late once service returns. - **Blocked or filtered messages.** Some phones sort promotional SMS into a separate tab, and some carriers filter automated senders. Check any spam or "other" message folder. - **Do Not Disturb / DND registration.** If your number is registered on India's DND list, transactional SMS should still reach you, but some carriers apply it more aggressively than they should.

Wait before resending

Requesting code after code does not speed anything up, and on some carriers a burst of requests makes delivery slower rather than faster. Give it a full minute before you resend.

If it still does not arrive

Contact support with the number you are trying to verify, including the country code. We can check whether the message was accepted by the carrier.

Where to add them

On the **web**, open your profile and use the photo section there. In the **app**, go to your profile and choose to edit it — photos are one of the tabs. You can add several, reorder them, and set which one people see first.

Requirements

Photos must be **JPG or PNG**, and each file must be **under 8 MB**. A photo straight from a modern phone camera is usually within that, but a screenshot of a screenshot, or an image saved in another format such as HEIC or WEBP, may not be.

If the upload fails

- Move to a stronger network. Uploads fail more often on a weak mobile signal than for any other reason, and a failure part-way through looks the same as a rejection. - Check the file size and format against the requirements above. - Try one photo at a time rather than several at once.

Why photos matter more than anything else on your profile

This is the single change that most affects whether anyone opens your profile. A profile without a photo is skipped by nearly everyone, no matter how well the rest of it is written. If you add one thing today, add a photo.

If it still fails

Contact support and describe what you see. Include the phone or browser you are using — upload problems are often specific to one platform.

How it is calculated

Your profile is scored across eleven areas, each worth the same amount. An area counts as done once its key fields are filled — it is all-or-nothing per area, not partial credit, which is why the number sometimes jumps by nine points after one small addition. The eleven areas are: basic info, location, religion and community, family, education and career, lifestyle, photos, about you, face verification, ID verification, and the psychology questions.

Why two of them are verifications

Face verification and ID verification each count as a full area. This surprises people who have filled in every text field and still see a number well under 100 — the remaining gap is usually verification, not writing.

Why it is worth raising

A fuller profile is shown to more people and gives the matching more to work with. Photos and verification are the two that change what you see most: without a photo, very few people will open your profile at all.

Completion is not a gate

You do not need 100% to use the app. You can browse, match and chat well before then.

Two ways to sign up

You can create an account with **Google** or with **email and password**. Both give you the same account and the same features — the difference is only in how you prove who you are when you sign in. Signing up with Google is faster: you tap once, and we get your verified email address straight from Google, so there is no email code to wait for.

What signing up with email and password involves

You enter your details, then confirm **both your email address and your phone number** with a one-time code before the account is created. Both codes are required — the account does not exist until both are confirmed. If a code does not arrive, see the OTP articles rather than starting the form again; starting over sends you back to the beginning without fixing the cause.

Password requirements

Your password needs at least 8 characters, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and one special character. One thing catches people out: **only these special characters are accepted — `@ $ ! % * ? &`**. A `#` or a `-` will be rejected even though it looks like a perfectly good symbol. If your password is being refused and you cannot see why, this is almost always the reason.

After signing up

Next comes your profile. You can either chat it through with Aisha or fill in a form — both reach the same place, and you can stop and come back at any point.

Finding your way around

1

Your profile and photos

Open **Profile**. On the app, choosing to edit gives you tabs for each part of your profile, including photos. On the web, your profile page holds the same sections.

Verification

On the **app**, verification has its own section — you will find phone, email, ID and face checks grouped together. On the **web**, verification lives inside your profile and settings rather than on a page of its own.

Matches, search and connections

**Matches** is the main discovery screen. Search lives on the same screen on the web, and has its own tab in the app. Connection requests you have sent and received are under **Connections** on the web and under the likes screen in the app.

Messages

**Chat**. On the app it is one of the tabs along the bottom.

Saathi, the AI coach

**AI Coach** — from the main menu on the web, and from the home screen in the app.

Aisha

Aisha is part of setting up your profile. On the web she has her own page; in the app she is offered when you set your profile up, and you can return to her from your profile at any time.

Plans, payments and invoices

**Pricing** shows the current plans. Your billing history, invoices, AI credits and call minutes each have their own screen in the app; on the web, pricing and premium cover the same ground.

Settings

**Settings** holds privacy, notification preferences, blocked users, language, and the option to hide or delete your account.

Family Mode

Family Mode has its own separate area, and family members sign in with their own login rather than yours.

If you cannot find something

The app and the website do not lay everything out identically, and a few things exist on one and not the other. Tell me what you are trying to do and I will tell you where it is on the device you are using.

Matching, chat and connections

4

How a conversation starts

You send a connection request. Once it is accepted, you can message each other. Nobody can message you without your having accepted them — that is deliberate, and it is why the inbox stays usable.

Limits

The free plan includes a small number of connection requests and does not include messaging. Paid plans include unlimited messaging, with a larger allowance of connection requests on Lite and no limit on Gold.

Read receipts

Whether you can see that a message has been read depends on your plan. It is not something the other person controls.

If a conversation goes quiet

It happens to everybody and it is very rarely about you. If you want a hand with what to say next — or whether to say anything — that is exactly the kind of thing Saathi is for.

Nothing is shared without both sides agreeing

Phone number, email and social handles stay private until **both** people explicitly accept sharing them. Matching with someone does not reveal any of it, and neither does chatting.

You choose field by field

Sharing is not all-or-nothing. Agreeing to share your phone number does not also hand over your email address or your social accounts — each is a separate decision.

Why it works this way

Handing over a phone number is the point at which someone can reach you outside the app, where none of the blocking or reporting tools apply. That deserves a deliberate choice rather than a side effect of matching.

Changing your mind

You cannot un-send a number someone already has. Take the same care you would offline, and if someone pushes hard for your details early, that itself is worth noticing.

The mix

Compatibility is scored from three things, weighted roughly: - **40% psychological compatibility** — six dimensions drawn from how you answered the questions about yourself, how you handle conflict, and what you rank above what - **30% astrology** — Vedic Kundli matching, with numerology and Western astrology alongside it - **30% your stated preferences and lifestyle** — the things you said you wanted, plus diet, habits, family type and so on

Why your matches may look thin

The scoring needs material. If the psychology section is unanswered and you have written little about yourself, roughly 40% of the calculation has nothing to work from, and what is left is mostly filters. The other common reason is verification: some of what you can see and do opens up once you are verified.

Why someone who fits your filters may not appear

Matching is not a database query. Someone can meet every stated criterion and still score poorly on compatibility — and we would rather show you fifteen people worth reading than four hundred who merely match on age and city.

The usual causes, in order

1. **Your profile is too thin for the matching to place you.** With only the basics filled in there is very little to compare against. The values and psychology sections are the ones that carry the most weight. 2. **You are not verified yet.** ID and face verification are what open matching up properly. 3. **Your filters are very narrow.** A tight age band combined with one city and a specific community can genuinely leave almost nobody. 4. **You are new.** A day-old account in a smaller city has simply not been shown to many people yet.

What to change first

Add a photo, then finish the profile sections about yourself, then verify. In that order — a photo affects whether anyone opens your profile, and the rest affects who you are shown to.

If none of that applies

If your profile is complete, you are verified, your filters are wide, and you still see nothing at all, that is worth reporting. Contact support rather than assuming it is normal.

Verification

3

What it is

A quick selfie, checked against the photos on your profile. It confirms that the person using the account is the person in the pictures.

Getting a clean result

- Good, even light — face a window rather than standing with your back to it - No sunglasses, no cap, nothing across your face - Just you in frame - Hold still; a blurred capture fails

Why it exists

It is the check that makes photo-based catfishing hard. It is also the reason other members can reasonably trust that a verified profile's photos are of that person.

If it keeps failing

If your profile photos are old, heavily filtered, or taken at an angle that hides your face, the comparison struggles. Adding a recent, clear, front-facing photo usually resolves it. If it still fails, contact support rather than retrying repeatedly.

How it works

ID verification runs through **DigiLocker**, the Government of India's official document service. You authorise it, it confirms your identity from your existing government records, and the result comes back to us.

Why DigiLocker rather than uploading a photo of your ID

Because you are not handing us a picture of your Aadhaar or PAN card. DigiLocker confirms the details directly, so there is no image of your identity document sitting in our systems to be leaked.

If it fails

- Your name on the ID must match the name on your profile. A shortened first name, a missing surname or a spelling difference will stop it. - DigiLocker itself is occasionally unavailable — if it fails outright, try again in a few hours before assuming there is a problem with your account.

How long it takes

Usually seconds. Some documents take up to 24 hours. If yours has been pending well beyond that, contact support.

The three checks

- **Phone** — a one-time code to your number - **ID** — a government ID, through DigiLocker - **Face** — a quick selfie, matched against your photos Most complete in seconds. Some IDs take up to 24 hours.

Why they matter to you

Verification is what opens matching up properly, and it is what other members look at when deciding whether to take a profile seriously. On a matrimonial platform the question behind every profile is "is this person real" — verification answers it before anyone has to ask. It is also the most common reason a profile that looks finished is still under 100% complete: the two verification checks each count as a full section.

What we do with your ID

It confirms you are who you say you are. It is not shown to other members and it does not go on your profile — only the fact that you are verified does.

Plans, payments and refunds

5

What they are for

Your plan includes an allowance of AI Coach sessions, coach voice minutes, and voice and video call minutes. If you use yours up before the month resets, you can buy a top-up pack instead of moving to a higher plan.

Why voice is counted separately from typing

A spoken minute with the coach costs far more to run than a typed exchange, and video calling costs more again because it is billed per participant per minute. Metering them separately is what keeps the typed allowances generous.

Packs are not refundable

Top-up packs are add-ons and are not covered by the 7-day money-back guarantee. Buy the size you will use.

Checking what is left

Your remaining allowance is shown on the credits and minutes screens, and the coach shows what you have left as you use it.

How you can pay

Payments run through Razorpay: **UPI, cards, and net banking**.

GST

Prices are quoted before tax and **18% GST is added at checkout**. The figure you see on the payment screen is the figure you are charged.

Invoices

A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment and is available from your billing history. If a refund completes, a credit note is issued against the original invoice and appears alongside it.

If a payment fails

Money is not taken for a failed payment. If you can see a pending debit on your account after a failure, that is a hold placed by your bank and it reverses on its own, usually within a few working days. If a payment was taken and your plan did not activate, contact support with the payment reference — do not pay again.

How it works

Every paid subscription comes with a **7-day money-back guarantee**. Request a refund within 7 days of paying and you get the full amount back, including GST. **Nobody reviews the request.** You are not asked why, there is no approval queue, and it is granted the moment you make it.

The 7 days run from your payment

Not from when you registered, and not from when the plan period starts. While the window is open you can see the exact closing date on the pricing page.

How to claim it

Open the pricing page and choose "Request a refund" on your active subscription. That is the entire process.

Once per account

The guarantee can be used **once per account, for the lifetime of that account**. Subscribing again later does not get you a second one. If you switch plans inside the window, the replaced plan's window closes with it. The new plan opens its own 7-day window, but you still only get one refund overall — so if you are unsure about something you paid for in the last week, claim it before switching.

What is covered

Lite and Gold subscriptions, monthly or annual, including the 18% GST.

What is not

- **Trials** — no payment was taken, so there is nothing to refund - **Add-ons** — AI session packs, extra video minutes, the Family Mode add-on - **Family Pack, broker and partner plans**, which have their own terms

When the money arrives

Back to the original payment method, typically **5–7 business days**. That last step is your bank's, not ours. A GST credit note is issued against your original invoice, and both are in your billing history.

Charged in error?

A duplicate or unauthorised charge is not a money-back claim and **does not use up your guarantee**. Contact support and we will correct it.

Nothing auto-renews. Ever.

When a paid plan reaches the end of its period it simply ends, and you go back to the free plan. **We do not store a mandate and we do not charge you again without you choosing to pay.** If you want to continue, you subscribe again. That is the whole mechanism. There is no cancellation to remember, and no surprise charge months later.

Free trials

TrueSoul Lite has a free trial, and the Family Mode add-on has a shorter one. The exact lengths are shown on the pricing page. **You are not charged when a trial ends.** No card is taken and nothing is on file — the trial finishes and you are back on the free plan until you decide otherwise. Trials are for Lite. Gold does not have one.

Because nothing renews, there is nothing to cancel

If you were looking for a cancel button and could not find one, this is why. You can stop paying by doing nothing at all.

The three plans

**Free** lets you use the app properly rather than just look at it: a few profile views a day, a handful of connection requests, some AI Coach sessions, and a taste of voice and video calling. Messaging is not included. **TrueSoul Lite** removes the daily view limit, includes unlimited messaging, a much larger allowance of connection requests, more coach sessions and voice minutes, advanced filters, read receipts and the verified badge. **TrueSoul Gold** adds unlimited connection requests, the largest coach and calling allowances, and the most generous call minutes.

Where to see current prices

Always the pricing page in the app or on the web. Prices, the current offer and the exact allowances are served live from there. We deliberately do not repeat figures in help articles — help copy has gone stale before and quoted a price lower than what customers were actually charged, which is worse than saying nothing.

Some things are free on every plan

Seeing who viewed your profile, and revealing contact details once both sides agree, are not paywalled.

Tax

Prices are shown before GST, and 18% GST is added at checkout. A tax invoice is issued for every payment.

Safety and privacy

2

Blocking

Open the menu on their profile or chat and choose **Block**. It takes effect immediately: they leave your matches and your chat list, and you disappear from theirs. You do not need a reason and they are not told. Blocked accounts are managed in settings, and you can unblock later if you want.

Reporting

Use **Report** from the three-dot menu on the profile. Add what happened — specifics help a great deal. Reports are reviewed by the trust and safety team, normally **within 24 hours**. Serious reports such as impersonation are prioritised.

Blocking and reporting are different

Blocking protects you. Reporting tells us there is a problem to act on. If someone behaved badly, please do both — blocking alone leaves them free to do the same to the next person.

If you feel unsafe

If someone has threatened you or you are in danger, contact the police. India's emergency number is **112** and the women's helpline is **1091**. Do that first and tell us afterwards.

Hide your profile instead

In settings, under privacy, set **Profile Visibility** to hidden. Your profile stops appearing in discovery and in other people's suggestions. Your existing matches and conversations stay exactly as they are, and nothing is deleted. Switch it back whenever you want. There is no penalty and no cooling-off period.

Why this is usually better than deleting

Deleting is permanent after the grace period — profile, matches and conversations all go. If what you actually want is to stop being shown to new people for a few weeks, hiding does that and is reversible.

Your account

4

How to delete

Settings → Account → Delete Account.

There is a 30-day grace period

Deletion is scheduled, not instant. For **30 days** the account still exists, and during that time **your email address and phone number stay reserved** and cannot be used to create a new account.

Signing in cancels it

**Any sign-in during those 30 days cancels the deletion** and restores your account in full. This catches people out: if you deleted your account and then logged in to check something, it is no longer scheduled for deletion, and you will need to request it again.

What is removed

Your profile, your matches and your conversations, permanently, once the 30 days elapse.

If you only want a break

Hide your profile instead — it takes you out of discovery, keeps everything intact, and is reversible.

If you need the email or phone freed sooner

Contact support. Do not create a second account with different details expecting to merge them later; accounts cannot be merged.

Where we are honestly

The app interface is currently in **English**, with **Hindi** support in progress. Other Indian languages are listed in the language picker but are not translated yet — those fall back to English rather than showing you half a screen. We would rather tell you that than let you switch to a language and find most of the app unchanged.

Where Hindi does work properly today

- **Aisha** talks in Hindi, including out loud - **Saathi**, the AI Coach, replies in whatever language you write in, including Hindi and Hinglish - Much of the written content has Hindi versions

Support

You can write to support in Hindi or Hinglish and get a reply in the same.

How

On the sign-in page choose "Forgot Password". We email a reset link.

The link expires in one hour

If you come back to an old email, request a fresh link rather than reusing the one you have.

If the email does not arrive

- Check spam and promotions - Add **noreply@truesoulmatch.com** to your contacts - Confirm you are checking the address the account was created with

If you signed up with Google

An account created through Google has no password to reset. Use the Google button on the sign-in page instead.

Password rules

At least 8 characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character — and note that **only `@ $ ! % * ? &` are accepted as special characters**. A `#` will be rejected.

The short version

Your chats are encrypted where they are stored. Your ID document is not held as an image — verification goes through DigiLocker, which confirms your identity from government records instead. Contact details are never shared without both people agreeing, field by field.

What other members can see

Your profile as you have filled it in, your photos, and whether you are verified. They do not see your ID, your email address, your phone number, or anything you have said to the AI Coach.

The AI Coach

Coach conversations are private to you. They are not shown to other members and they are not used to build your public profile.

Getting your data removed

Deleting your account removes your profile, matches and conversations after the 30-day grace period. There is a dedicated data deletion page describing the process, and the full detail is in the privacy policy.

What each feature does

11

What it is

Saathi is a private coach you can talk to about the relationship side of finding a partner. It is not a search tool and it does not look through profiles for you — it is someone to think out loud with.

What people actually use it for

- Working out what they want, when "I'll know it when I see it" is not getting them anywhere - What to say in a first message, and what to do when a conversation goes quiet - Nerves before a first meeting, and what to make of one afterwards - Handling family expectations that do not match their own - Deciding whether a mismatch is a real problem or something they can live with

How to talk to it

Type, or speak — Saathi can hold a live voice conversation as well as a written one. It replies in the language you use, including Hindi.

What it costs

Every plan includes coach sessions: the free plan includes a few, and paid plans include considerably more. Voice minutes are counted separately from typed messages, because a spoken minute costs much more to run than a typed one. You can top up with a credit pack if you run out before your month resets.

What it is not

Saathi is not a therapist or a crisis service. If you are dealing with something serious — your own safety, or thoughts of harming yourself — please use a real helpline. Saathi will point you at one, but a helpline is the right place for that, not an app.

What it does

It looks past the filters. Age, city, community and income are easy to search on and tell you very little about whether two people will get on — AI Matchmaking works from what you have written about yourself and what you have said you want, and looks for people whose answers actually fit.

Why it finds different people than search does

Search finds people who match your criteria. This finds people who match *you* — which sometimes means someone you would have filtered out, and sometimes means explaining why someone who ticks every box probably is not right.

What it needs from you

The more of your profile is filled in — particularly the parts about values, how you see relationships, and what you want — the better this works. With a nearly empty profile it has almost nothing to reason from.

Where the analysis shows up

Alongside a profile, you can see an explanation of why you were matched: what lines up and what does not. The disagreements are worth reading, not just the agreements.

What she does

Aisha builds your profile by talking to you. Instead of facing a form with dozens of empty boxes, you answer one question at a time and she fills the profile in behind the scenes. She speaks English and Hindi, and she can talk out loud if you would rather listen than read.

Why it is not just a nicer form

Some of what Aisha asks is not the sort of thing a form asks well — how you handle disagreement, what you actually rank above what, how you see yourself. Those answers feed the compatibility matching, which is the part that looks past the obvious filters like age and city. A profile built this way tends to say something. A profile of one-word form answers usually does not.

How long it takes

Twelve areas, covering the basics through to a short self-discovery section at the end. You are not meant to finish in one go — answers save as you give them, and you resume where you stopped.

If you would rather not

The form is always there and reaches the same profile. Neither route unlocks anything the other does not.

What it is

Kundli matching and compatibility readings, drawing on Vedic astrology alongside numerology and Western astrology.

How it fits into matching

Astrology is one input among several, not the whole answer. The overall compatibility score is roughly **40% psychological compatibility, 30% astrology, and 30% your stated preferences and lifestyle**. We are explicit about that mix because it matters both ways: if astrology is central for your family, it is genuinely weighted; if it is not something you follow, it is not deciding your matches on its own.

What you need for it

An accurate birth date, time and place. Birth time especially — an hour out changes the reading meaningfully.

If you do not want it

You can use the app perfectly well without engaging with this section at all.

What it is

Articles about the actual business of finding a partner and being in a relationship — conversations worth having before marriage, handling family pressure, what compatibility means in practice, how to read a profile honestly. It is free, it does not need an account, and it is not a sales pitch for the paid plans.

Why it exists

Most of the hard parts of this process are not app problems. Knowing what to ask someone on a second meeting, or how to raise money with a partner without it turning into a fight, is not something a matching algorithm can do for you. The articles are there for that.

How it connects to the rest

Saathi will sometimes point you at an article when one is genuinely relevant to what you are discussing. You can also just browse. If you want something more structured than individual articles, look at Learn instead.

What it is

A place to ask relationship and marriage questions and read what other people have asked. Questions are answered by the community.

It is pseudonymous

You post under a pseudonym, not your profile name. People reading your question cannot tell which member wrote it, and it is not linked to your profile. This is deliberate — the questions worth asking are usually the ones people would not put their name to.

What it is moderated for

Posts are checked before they go live. Anything abusive, anything that identifies a specific private person, and anything that looks like a safety issue is handled separately.

When to use it instead of Saathi

Use **Saathi** when you want a private conversation about your own situation. Use **Community** when you want to know how other people handled something, or whether what you are experiencing is unusual.

Availability

Community is rolled out gradually. If you cannot find it in your app, it is not yet switched on for you.

What it is

A paid, in-depth compatibility assessment for **two people who are already considering each other** — not a matching feature. Both partners take part, separately and then together, and you get a written report about how you actually fit.

Who it is for

Couples at the point of deciding. Families weighing up a match. People who get on well but want to know what they have not talked about yet. It is not for browsing, and it is not something you do with someone you have just matched with.

How it runs

Each of you is interviewed separately first, so neither is answering in front of the other. Then there is a joint session. The report draws on both.

What is in the report

Where you align, where you differ, and — more usefully — which of those differences tend to matter over time and which do not. It is written to be read together.

Privacy

What you say in your individual interview is not quoted back to your partner. That separation is what makes it possible to answer honestly.

Availability

The assessment is being rolled out carefully. If you cannot see it, it is not yet enabled for your account.

What it is

Family Mode gives your parents or guardians their **own separate login** to take part in the search — properly, in the app, instead of over your shoulder or via forwarded screenshots.

What they can do

- Browse profiles - Add profiles to a shared family shortlist - Vote on shortlisted profiles, so everyone's view is visible in one place - Chat with the families of shortlisted profiles - Arrange meetings

What they cannot do

**They never see your private chats.** They see the profiles you put on the family shortlist and nothing else from your account. Your conversations stay yours. This boundary is the point of the feature. Family involvement in Indian matchmaking is normal and often welcome; family reading your private messages is not.

Why it helps

It replaces the awkward middle ground where a parent is involved but has no way to participate, which usually ends in the same three profiles being discussed on WhatsApp for a fortnight. Everyone sees the same shortlist, and disagreements happen in one place.

What it costs

Family Mode is an optional add-on rather than part of the main plans, and it comes with a short free trial so you can see whether your family will actually use it.

What it is

Learn is the structured version of the Blog. Instead of standalone articles, it is courses — a sequence of short lessons that build on each other, each with clear objectives, key ideas, and something to reflect on at the end.

When to use which

Use the **Blog** when you have a specific question and want an answer. Use **Learn** when you want to get properly to grips with a subject — communication, compatibility, preparing for marriage — rather than reading around it.

What it costs

Nothing. Courses are free and you can work through them at your own pace; your progress is remembered.

Why bother

The people who do best here are usually not the ones with the most matches. They are the ones who know what they are looking for and can talk about it. That is a learnable thing, and this is where it is taught.

What it is

A directory of wedding service providers — photographers, venues, caterers and so on — and of matchmaking partners.

Availability

The Marketplace is not switched on yet. It is built, but it stays dark until there are enough members for a listing to be worth anything to a vendor, and enough vendors for the directory to be worth anything to you. If you cannot find it in your app, that is why. Nothing is broken.

If you are a vendor

Registration exists but is not open to the public yet. Contact support if you want to be told when it opens.

What you get

Invite someone and, when they sign up through your link, you get a stretch of paid TrueSoul Lite access at no cost.

How to invite

Open the refer screen in the app and share your personal link. The link is what ties the signup back to you — a friend who signs up without it cannot be credited afterwards.

When the reward lands

After your friend completes their signup. If someone used your link and nothing has appeared, check that they finished creating the account rather than stopping partway.

Fair use

Referrals are for real people. Accounts created to farm rewards are removed along with the rewards.

When something goes wrong

4

Try these in order

1. **Check your connection.** A screen that loads its frame but no content is almost always a network problem rather than a fault in the app. 2. **Close the app fully and reopen it.** Not just backgrounding it — swipe it away and start it again. 3. **On the web, do a hard refresh.** Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows and Linux, Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac. A stale cached version is a common cause of a page that works for everyone else. 4. **Check for an app update.** A blank screen that persists is sometimes an older build against a newer server. 5. **Restart the phone.** Unsatisfying, and it genuinely does fix a class of these.

If a specific screen is blank while the rest works

That is more useful information than a general failure, and it is worth reporting. Tell support **which screen**, what you did just before, and what you were expecting.

What to include when you report it

Your app version, your phone or browser, and whether it happens every time or occasionally. The version matters — a bug fixed two releases ago is a different conversation from one nobody has seen.

Check which method you signed up with

This is the single most common cause. If you created the account with **Google**, there is no password — entering your email and a guessed password will always fail. Use the Google button. If you created it with email and password, the Google button will not find it either.

"Wrong password"

Use forgot-password rather than guessing. The reset link is valid for **one hour**. Remember the special-character rule when setting a new one: only `@ $ ! % * ? &` are accepted.

"No account found"

Check the address for typos, and check whether you might have signed up with a different email. If you deleted an account within the last 30 days, signing in **restores** it rather than being refused.

Still stuck

Contact support with the email address you are trying, and say whether you used Google or a password. Do not create a second account — accounts cannot be merged.

Check both places

Notifications can be switched off in **two** independent places, and people usually check only one: 1. **In the app**, under settings — the per-type preferences for messages, matches and coach tips 2. **In your phone's own settings**, under the app's notification permissions If the phone-level permission was declined when you first installed, no in-app setting will override it.

Also worth checking

- Battery optimisation. Aggressive power saving on some Android phones — particularly Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus — stops background delivery entirely. Excluding the app from optimisation usually fixes it. - Do Not Disturb.

Email notifications

If it is emails you are missing rather than push, check spam and add `noreply@truesoulmatch.com` to your contacts.

Please do report it

A bug that nobody reports is a bug that stays. Reports from members are how a good number of problems have been found.

What makes a report useful

- **What you did**, step by step - **What you expected**, and **what happened instead** - **Which screen** it was on - **Your app version and device**, or your browser on the web - Whether it happens every time or only sometimes - A screenshot, if the problem is visible The difference between "chat is broken" and "opening a conversation from the matches list shows a black screen every time, on Android, version 1.0.38" is the difference between a week and an afternoon.

Where to send it

Raise it here and it will be turned into a ticket with your app version and device attached automatically, so you do not have to look them up.
